MoZ Art Gallery started as a dream from two sisters that wanted to work together many years ago.
As Monica's sister, Zulma always admired her work and believe she had to share her talent with the world. During the pandemic, the idea of offering an outlet of relieve or catharsis through art emerged.
It was inspired by how art therapy is implemented to deal with many conditions, including some of the most common ones due to the pandemic, stress, and anxiety.
That is how the concept “Art with a Purpose” was born. A space created not only to help people cope with everything that is happening in the world, but more importantly to carry out the message of hope, love, and faith that is found in God.
About Us
Mónica Heras is a Colombian painter, born in the city of Cartagena on August 18, 1967. In her paintings, she embraces the essence of the naïve and predetermined art by mixing lines and curves with a lot of vibrant colors, making her works very striking.
Her work has been inspired by great masters such as the painter and sculptor Romero Brito, the Caribbean landscapes full of light and color, and most importantly her faith as well.
Monica currently lives in the city of Miami where she had her last exhibition in November 2021.
Over the years, much of her time has been devoted to teaching art techniques to learn creative skills and release tensions through her purposeful painting classes.

We offer painting parties in a wonderful studio with great ambience for relaxation. Ladies nigh out, couples date night, mommy and me painting, Daddy and me painting, Fundraising events, adults and kids birthday parties and much more. (call us for details an free estimate).

For private events we bring tables, chairs, materials and all the set up for a class of up to 2 hours. Additional time will have an extra cost. Appetizers and referents for private events are NOT INCLUDED.

We love to collaborate with great causes like Mobility Angels, this organization works to help families with children who use wheelchairs and need funds to purchase accessibility vehicles or convert standard vans so they can be able to mobilizes making their daily life challenges less complicated. We all believe that all these families should have the independence to be part of their communities.
